About
We work on the decisions that don't have an obvious owner.
UNFUZZIED is an independent advisory practice. We're brought in when a choice matters enough that getting it wrong would be expensive, and when the people involved know that the usual process won't be enough.
What we believe
Good judgment is a practice, not a personality trait. It can be structured, taught, and improved — and it degrades in predictable ways when a group is under time pressure, when one voice carries more weight than the others, or when a decision has already been informally made and the meeting exists to ratify it.
AI is now in the room for most of this work, whether or not anyone says so. Used well, it widens the range of things a group considers. Used carelessly, it narrows the range while making the group feel more confident. The difference lies in how the work is set up, and in which parts of it stay with people.
How we work
Engagements are structured and time-boxed. We work with a named decision owner, we're explicit about what's in scope and what isn't, and we finish at the point of commitment — we don't stay on to run the implementation.
